Spellbound by Gemma Burgess's second novel, A Girl Like Me, I dived into A Dating Detox with so enthusiasm and I wasn't disappointed. Sass is fed up of relationship failures and decides she needs to take a break from the dating scene. In doing so she focuses her energies on herself. She discovers who she can really be and that's really attractive to men. They want her. But Sass doesn't want to risk her new found awesome-ness by entering another relationship... and then there's Jake... who's yummy and comes along at the wrong time... but he's yummy.
4/5 - This is a great read and I'm eagerly awaiting the next one from Burgess
